Christiana Kehrer, the eye behind Christiana Kehrer Interiors is a London based interior designer catering to high-end residential and commercial projects. Growing up in Bad Homburg, Germany she finished high school in the picturesque swiss Engadine before spending years studying and working in between Milan and London. Apart from also having volunteered for The Georgian Group, she is finishing her master’s degree in Building History from University of Cambridge and has a profound passion for working on heritage projects in the UK and globally. The extensive experience in the creative field, ranging from fashion to interiors provide her with a refined and unique taste, resulting in a timeless aesthetic with a fresh approach. Preserving historic character of a property is a focal point in her practise as it creates the ideal canvas to design a one-of-a-kind interior. Sourcing splendid antiques, creating bespoke furniture and using the finest of textiles is a trademark of her studio to create authentic interiors which embrace modern sensibility.
Her international background and experience working in the fashion and interiors industries have allowed her to work with renowned leading studios, working from a variety of projects such as residential historic properties in London or the Miami based Cipriani Residences. Drawing inspiration from traditional elements and nostalgia, Christiana finds pleasure in working closely with each client to inspire their personal taste, by creating refined homes full of sophisticated character which age effortlessly over decades.
